Dad always watched this race.  He never cared for Nascar, describing it as "one big traffic jam."  But the Indy cars are faster and sleeker. 

I think so too.  I don't follow the league but watch the Indy 500.  In fact I think it is kind of odd about Indy cars that their only big event is the first one of the year.

It looks like the real story of this year will be Danica Patrick getting hit in the pits and her huffy reaction.  

I have always felt that the track needs to be made larger and wider because the cars are a lot faster now than when the track was built.  Maybe the same should be true for the pit area.
